Your Experience on the Couch

Who do I work with?

I offer individual therapy for adults navigating self-worth, identity, childhood wounds, relationship patterns, and the general exhaustion of being human. Throughout my career, I have found special interest and passion in helping my clients with the following:

  • Depression

  • Shame and self-loathing

  • Self-criticism and perfectionism

  • Relational trauma

  • Anxiety

  • Body image

  • Identity exploration

  • Relationship issues

  • Life transitions

My practice is proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming. Your identity — all of it — is welcome here. You won’t need to soften your experience to make me comfortable. This is a space where you can just be.

My Guiding Principles

Relationships

Much of our emotional pain originates in relationships, from small moments of feeling unseen to deep experiences of betrayal and violation. But relationships can also be a powerful source of healing. When we are met with empathy and compassion, we begin to learn that it's safe to be ourselves. This is the foundation of my work with clients.

Values

What is important to you? This is a question we'll return to often in therapy. One of the benefits of therapy is having space to explore your values and discover what gives your life meaning. Unlike one-size-fits-all mental health advice, therapy is tailored to you. Understanding what truly works for you can make all the difference.

Compassion

Most of us speak to ourselves in ways we would never speak to someone we love. While self-compassion can feel countercultural in a world that prizes grit and productivity, meeting ourselves with kindness can be deeply transformative. It helps us connect more authentically with others, live in alignment with our values, and navigate pain without facing it alone.

Courage

I'm honored to be able to witness the growth that emerges when people step beyond familiar patterns and into uncertainty. Change can be uncomfortable, but it often begins where courage meets curiosity. Together, we can explore those places and discover new possibilities for moving forward.
